Zolvs Marketplace and Incubator, formerly Angelist LLC, by Connor Wong and Asrith Sampath

Founded by rising young leaders Connor Wong (SHS ’25) and Asrith Sampath (RRHS ’26), Zolvs Marketplace and Incubator has quickly gained popularity as a platform for entrepreneurs. With over 300 verified listings valued at a total of $20 million+, the marketplace is known for facilitating commercial success for numerous listings. It not only creates business opportunities, but also encourages social impact. With over six thousand projects submitted, their business, which has attracted a steadily growing base of over 32,000 monthly users, carefully vets its listings and is now winning praise for its innovative approach to community development. The beta tests were widely successful, with the lists achieving commercial success.

Connor Wong brings experience from his involvement with Uber, PwC and as a research intern at Meta. In addition, he conducted research with an outstanding scientist, contributing to a US-patented approach to ketogenic diet recommendations. He also co-hosts the Atlas Podcast, where he discusses business, learning science, and self-help to a significant following.

Asrith Sampath, Founder and CFO Zolvs

Asrith Sampath is a financial management intern at Star Gastro and is the president and founder of his school’s Conrad Challenge chapter. Along with all this, he is currently working on a research paper on the Dodd-Frank Act.

Although they are still in high school, their combined expertise in entrepreneurship, technology and business strategy has allowed them to not only meet the needs of startups, but also provide a living, breathing incubator for early-stage projects and businesses. Entrepreneurs make it easy, with listings available for everything from software and app ideas to brand concepts and e-commerce sites looking for a new owner. Innovators can effortlessly present their work, connect with an audience and gain exposure.

Moreover, as the platform expands, Connor and Asrith continue to demonstrate their interest in its successful growth through careful and strategic iterations—staying attentive to user needs and incrementally testing features to benefit a wider audience, considering and other industries. This explains why, with six thousand submissions, the platform maintains high quality through a strong verification process and is recognized for its two inspiring goals: to help people improve their businesses effectively and to be a positive force in society.

The founders’ commitment to making a difference in society extends beyond the market. Connor and Asrith have donated over $30,000 to many causes, reflecting their ethos of giving back. They were recognized for their exceptional impact on promoting entrepreneurship and community growth.

The journey began in 2021 when Zolvs Marketplace and Incubator was founded by two students who managed to provide an easy way to buy and sell project ideas. With successful beta tests over the past few years, this model connects creators with investors, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop their ideas into something of value.

Connor Wong noted in an interview: “As the platform expands, the surveillance process becomes more difficult and more suitable for large intermediary sites like Flippa.” They remain focused on expanding its offerings and coverage, recognizing that a directory model will provide users with a more secure experience in the long run. They anticipate transitioning to a broader directory site, with an emphasis still on checking the quality of each project.

And so plans for new features, more content and better services are already in the works. The full directory and learning portal will be relaunched next month following their prestigious accolade, and will offer an impressive curriculum of 150 course modules and a series of webinars with insightful interviews, tips and advice from industry leaders. This shift from a small, focused marketplace to an incubator shows their growth plan, giving users access to education, business support, and more chances to gain visibility. All courses and webinar series will be free, ensuring that financial limitations will not prevent anyone from accessing knowledge.
